PNA Monomers that streamline synthesis

PNA monomers serve as the building blocks for peptide nucleic acids (PNAs). These widely used synthetic DNA analogues act as artificial oligonucleotide mimetics with higher metabolic stability and greater specificity for target DNA and RNA. They include protected natural nucleobases (cytosine, guanine, adenine, thymine) and synthetic nucleobase derivatives attached to protected N-(2-aminoethyl) glycine units.

Since 2005, we have grown our portfolio of PNA monomers to include standard Fmoc-PNA monomers, Boc-PNA monomers, modified PNA monomers and many of the building blocks and reagents for these reactions.

All products can be ordered in quantities up to 50g from stock, along with a large variety of backbone- and base-modified peptide nucleic acids.
